It was just a little bulge.....It was an Angry Inch!!!
Anyway, the Dead can't Dance. I got some songs of theirs from Aaron and they completely lack a dance beat. The other Dead, they can't dance either....they're just dirty smelly hippies......(muttering.....damn hippies piss me off). As for Hedwig....rock on! One of my favorite movies. I endured years of being called gay because I liked that movie before people came around. I hate musicals, but that one is damn good. I even have the soundtrack and probably could quote the entire movie from start to finish. (Wait, just realized that it's pathetic to be able to quote any movie from start to finish, let alone one about gay cowboys eating pudding). I need to watch less tv. -J
Oh no, I cannot believe you said they have no dance beat. What are you Barishnykov, NO, I shake my head in disgust. If your'e looking for the bump and gring, then perhaps you're correct. But if you're talking about good dancing, with seductive women exotically swaying, then the beat is there, and if you don't hear it, you're deaf! ach, criticize a band, that is ok, but in a totally false fashion, not cool dude.
I pointed him in the direction of Pink Flamingoes, but for some reason I don't think he wants to see the inside of some dude's ass. As for Dead Can Dance, I stick by my statement. I've tried to listen to them, but every time it comes on my computer I skip past it now. Nothing personal, just a matter of different tastes. When I look for rhythm heavy music I look to Primus, Tool, and Talking Heads.
Good one Amber. Who are you? Kalishnikov? Vladivostok? Dnepetrovisk?
I like some of the songs from Hedwig. The origin of love, angry inch, wicked little town (hedwig version). Jason, are you forgetting another wierd, borderline gay musical that you and I know most of the lines to? I listen to the 'Floor Show' and 'I'm Coming Home' all the time.
I don't know any dead can dance. They sound pretty wierd to me.
Weird? You know what is weird to me, how you could SEEM so cool and yet, you don't know DCD! What is the reference to Russians? I know some of my friends believe that I may have been some kind of tyrannical dictator in another life, but none have gone so far as to name me.

haha!!!! Did ya ever see that movie Nell?
anyways- i give props to jason for knowing all of Hedwig. You obviously got Aaron to watch it, which is no small feat!
Now just get him to watch some John Waters films, and you'll have complete control!!!

Don't dream it.....be it.
Don't forget "Cards for Sorrow, Cards for Pain" a personal fave.
Ya man, that song is called 'I'm Coming Home'. It's the song Frankenfurter sings after Riffraff comes in and foils the plan.
